Both of the Tiffen filters I bought (2 separate orders, a few weeks apart) arrived smeared with some kind of greasy gunk.
It was extremely difficult to get them clean.
What ever the stuff was just got smeared around, and it took me forever to get it all off.
I still worry that there may be a film of it left on there that will degrade the clarity of my photos.
It wasn't worth the hassle to return them, but next time I need a filter, I won't buy Tiffen.
